Merits

Terms of use

Not legal advice

Merits is software, not a law firm. Nothing on this site is legal advice, and using it creates no attorney–client relationship. Deadline computations carry their legal authority so that counsel can check them; the attorney of record remains responsible for every date relied on and every document filed.

The archive

The source archive preserves published country-conditions material as evidence: hashed, timestamped copies of what a publisher's site served on a given date. Source material remains the property of its publishers and is provided to authorized users for case preparation, not for republication.

Access

Archive access is limited to participating attorneys and their staff. Access codes are personal to the practice they were issued to; do not share them beyond it.

No warranty

The service is provided as-is during this early-access period, without warranty of any kind. When something is wrong or unclear, tell us: mertislegal@gmail.com.
